World Centric is happy to now make our own line of biodegradable and compostable bags, which are comparable to BioBags. Made from a mixture of synthetic and starch based plastics, our bags are now BPI Certified. The compostable bags are also printed with soy based ink.

Currently, all compostable trash bags in the market are made from a mixture of synthetic and starch based plastics. The synthetic content usually ranges from 55% to 100% . The synthetic polymer content is necessary to give the bag its elasticity, stretchability and strength.

These products are BPI (Biodegradables Product Institute) Certified.
Please note that composting is required for biodegradation. These compostable bags will biodegrade within 30 days in a commercial composting facility, and within 90 days in a home composting system.
