Terms of Ordering
World Centric Terms and Conditions for Online Orders
Required Documents
At the time of or prior to order submission all customers must provide, as warranted, a valid California Resale Certificate and Non-profit Certification.
Prices
Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice based upon availability of raw materials, energy, transportation and international exchange rates. Prices charged are based upon pricelist at the time of order. Current pricelists are always available upon request.
Shipping and Handling
Orders will be shipped 1 - 2 business days after order confirmation email is received. World Centric ships via UPS, USPS, and truck freight from San Leandro, California. Estimated costs and transit time are available online for orders less than $1000 or upon request from a World Centric representative for larger orders. Transit time varies based on final destination. Orders requiring same day shipment must be placed by 12 Noon and will incur an additional $10 fee as well as any special shipping charges.
Pick up Orders
Pick up orders are available between 1:00 and 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, for a $10.00 surcharge. Items cannot be exchanged or returned during pickup. Orders requiring same day pick up must be placed by 12 Noon and will incur an additional $10 fee.
Cancellations/Change Order
Cancellation requests or order changes must be submitted by email, fax or phone at (650) 283-3797. Every effort will be made to accommodate the cancellation of your order, providing your order has not been shipped. Orders are shipped 1- 2 business days after order confirmation email is received.
Prepayment
Credit card customers are billed at time of shipment. All International orders must be prepaid by credit card or wire transfer.
Claims/Returns
World Centric will not refund on damages that occur in transit or order discrepancies not reported within 15 business days of receipt. Customer assumes responsibility for completeness of order at time of receipt. No returned merchandise will be accepted for credit without a Return Authorization (RA) Number. Returned items must be in original packing condition. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee plus shipping (both ways) and handling. Refusing any package at the time of delivery will incur additional return shipping fees. All transit damage claims must be filed with the shipping company if private shipping was arranged.
International orders and shipments
World Centric is not responsible for additional charges associated with customs duties, import taxes, or import fees. It is the responsibility of the recipient to establish contact with customs of the country of import in the event further action is needed for clearance of customs. Delays may be encountered for international shipments and the recipient accepts that there can be no guarantee of delivery transit times from World Centric on international orders.
We also reserve the right to bill or collect payment on international shipments before they are shipped.
