Compostable Utensils

We have 2 different line of utensils.
Heat resistant utensils
These biodegradable utensils are good for hot foods upto 200 F and are made from 80% non-GMO corn starch and 20% other biodegradable fillers. These utensils are thicker than normal utensils and do not feel or look like normal plastic utensils. They will take 180-360 days to compost in a commercial composting facility, and will take up to 2 years or longer in a home composting system.
Non-Heat Resistant
These compostable utensils are good for warm and cold foods upto 120 F. These utensils look like and feel like normal plastic utensils and are made from 100% non-GMO corn starch PLA resin (click here to view certifications). They will take 90-180 days to compost in a commercial composting facility. Home composting is not recommended as they do require a higher heat to break down, which may not occur in most home composting systems.

200 F - Corn Starch Utensils

These utensils are made from non-GMO corn starch, which is derived from corn grown in China. Forks, knives and soup spoons are available and can withstand temperatures of up to 200 degrees F.

120F - Non-GMO PLA Utensils

These forks, knives and spoons are made from non-GMO polylactic acid (PLA), which is derived from corn grown in China. Utensils are perfect for salads, desserts and cold dishes and can withstand temperatures of up to 120 degrees F.

PLA Tasting Spoons

These tiny tasting spoons are also made from non-GMO PLA derived from corn grown in China and are perfect for ice cream and dessert samples (up to 120 degrees F).
